Today the meeting of Provisional Education Ministers was held under Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood. Provisional Education Ministers also participated in the meeting.  This meeting was held to make a decision regarding matric and inter exams 2021.

In the inter provisional education ministers today, it is decided that matric and inter exams will be conducted after July 10 instead of June 26. Exams will be conducted in two phases. In the 1st phase exams of 10 and 12 classes will be conducted after July 10. In the 2nd phase exams of 9 and 11 classes will be conducted.

Exams Delayed Again and will be held after 10 July

It is also decided in the meeting that there will be exams of elective subjects only. The exams 9 and 10 classes will be conducted in 4 subjects with maths and elective subjects. The exams 11 and 12 classes will be conducted in 3 subjects with only elective subjects.

The marks percentage taken by students in elective subjects will also be proportionately allocated to subjects in which exams are not being taken.

There will be a more gap between papers so that students can prepare papers easily in more time. The exam date sheet will be announced soon.

The education minister Shafqat Mahmood announced that all decisions in the last 1 and half year was made with unanimous decisions. 
Shafqat Mahmood announced that exams will be conducted this year and no one will be promoted without exams. Exams delayed because students are protesting due to incomplete preparation of exams.
Shafqat Mahmood announced that schools and colleges are open for 10 and 12 classes. Classes of 9 and 11 classes will also be allowed from tomorrow June 03, 2021, So that students can prepare for exams.
