As on May 19, 2021, The NCOC has decided to open all educational institutions from May 24, 2021, in those districts in which the COVID-19 ratio is less than 5%. It was also decided that in other districts in which the COVID-19 ratio is more than 5%, The educational institutions will open from June 07, 2021.
Today Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas has confirmed that in the 16 districts of Punjab all public and private schools will be reopened from May 24, 2021.
The following are the 16 districts in which all private & public schools will open from May 24, 2021.
- Bahawalnagar
- Chakwal
- Chiniot
- Hafizabad
- Jhang
- Jhelum
- Kasur
- Mandi Bahuddin
- Nankana Sahib
- Narowal
- Pakpattan
- Rajanpur
- Sahiwal
- Sheikhupura
- Sialkot
- Vehari
In the above-mentioned 16 districts, all public and private schools will be reopened from May 24, 2021.
It is also decided that in the following Districts all private and public schools will open for 4 days a week. Schools will be allowed to call students on alternate days with 50% attendance starting from Monday, May 24, 2021. The remaining Districts to be decided in the next meeting.
