Due to the current law and order situation in the federal capital, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has decided to postpone matric final exams.
Despite the unclear law and order situation in Islamabad, the FBISE confirmed earlier on Tuesday that the matric final exams would be held as planned.
The FBISE also enabled students to take the final exams in their nearby exam centers if they were unable to reach their allocated exam centers in or around Islamabad’s red zone.
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi had also ordered the postponement of final exams scheduled for Wednesday, May 25.
The final paper of Pakistan Studies for matric students has been postponed by BISE Rawalpindi due to the current law and order situation in the nation. The replacement date for this paper will be announced later, but the other papers will take place as planned.
