National University of Science and Technology (NUST) announces the registration schedule of NET-3 series. NUST university conducts NET test 3 times in each academic year and students can appear in one or more NET tests. For merit calculation of a student highest marks of NET are considered if a student appears more than one time in NET.
NET-3 2021 registration will be open from 19 April to 10 June 2021. Students can apply online on the official website of NUST during this time. Keeping in view the HSSC / O / A level exam schedule, NET-3 tests will be conducted in two phases:
- Phase-1: 28 May 2021 onwards
- Phase-2: 02 Jul 2021 onwards
Candidates of HSSC Part-1 who have been promoted to Part-2 without taking examination of part-1 in session 2020 will apply on the basis of SSC result.
Candidates of FSc Pre-Medical / equivalent qualification can apply for BS Computer Science, but they have to clear deficient Mathematics courses of 6 credit hours, within one year of enrollment in the program.
NET-3 2021 Registration Fee
The registration fee for NET entry test is rupees 3000. Students can pay this fee online through Visa/ Master card or even they can print fee voucher after filling online admission form and can pay in any branch of HBL in Pakistan. In case if students pay their fee in a bank then they will have to confirm their fee payment by entering bank branch name and code.

How to Apply for NET-3 2021
Students can apply for NET-3 2021 online by visiting the official website of NUST university (ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk). First of all, students will have to create an account by filling the following form through their personal email.

After creating an account students will have to log in to his account and fill an online application form. After this students can generate their fee voucher o pay NET fee in a bank. Fee can also be paid online through Visa/ Master card.
Admit Card
After verification of fee payment, students can select any suitable date for their test and after this, they can print their admit card.
Eligibility Criteria for NET
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks each in SSC and HSSC OR equivalent exams (as per IBCC equivalence).
- Candidates of FA/FSc stream can apply for NET on the basis of FA/FSc Part-I but confirmation of admission is subject to provision of FA/FSc certificate or Detailed Marks Certificate.
- All non-FSc stream candidates must have an equivalence certificate of their qualification, duly obtained from IBCC, Pakistan in relevant groups/subjects and with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Candidates of O/A Level or any other foreign equivalent qualification can apply on the basis of O Level (SSC) equivalence certificate obtained from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) office but confirmation of their admission is subject to provision of A-
- Level (HSSC) equivalence certificate duly obtained from IBCC, Pakistan.
- Candidates of O/A level or any other foreign qualification are advised to contact IBCC, Pakistan for issuance of equivalence certificates as per university requirements with more than 60% marks in required subjects/group, well in time. Any deficiency of subjects or non-provision of IBCC equivalence certificate before the start of classes will lead to cancellation of admission at any stage.
- Merit for BS Biotechnology program will be based on complete FSc / A Level or equivalent qualification (as per IBCC Equivalence Certificate) result.

Final merit for admission in UG programs will be prepared by assigning weightings as follows:

* O/A Level candidates who are in A-Level (final year) will be assigned 25% weightage to their O Level equivalence marks as per the equivalence certificate issued by IBCC, Pakistan.
* Candidates of HSSC Part-1 who have been promoted to Part-2 without taking an examination of Part-1 in the year 2020 will apply on the basis of SSC result. The merit of these candidates will also be calculated on the basis of SSC results by assigning 25% weighting along with 75% for the NET.
